New Interactive Map Shows Hotbeds of A/E Merger & Acquisition Activity

This new view of 2007 deals displays the number of buyers and sellers by state and region. In 2007, deal volume was at an all-time high-- about 30% ahead of 2006. The map reveals a significant number of deals in California as well as Texas and Florida-- all states that are experiencing the greatest increases in population. The Manufacturing Belt and the Northeast also saw strong M&A activity, despite relatively weaker population growth.
